No bird flu in Russia - Rosselkhoznadzor
No bird flu cases have been reported in Russia for more than four weeks, the Russian Veterinary and Phytosanitary Oversight Service Rosselkhoznadzor told Interfax.
On August 7, quarantine was lifted in the last populated area earlier infected with bird flu.
In all, 93 localities in eleven districts of the Southern Federal District and five in the Siberian Federal District have been affected with the disease this year.
The situation remains under the state veterinary service’s permanent control, Rosselkhoznadzor said.
