Egypt announces third human death from bird flu

CAIRO (Reuters) - Egypt said on Thursday a third person had died after being infected with the bird flu virus, the state MENA news agency said.

The latest death was a 16-year-old girl from a province north of Cairo, who was admitted to hospital on Wednesday. Egypt has so far reported 11 human bird flu cases.
