Chinese government confirms Heron had bird flu

Hong Kong (avianinfluenza.org)

A Chinese government website is reporting that the black-crowned night heron found at Ocean Park has been confirmed to be H5N1 positive.

The dead bird was collected for testing on Jan 28, 2008. Chinese authorities had closed the park as a precaution.
