That’s right you read it here. A few big companies in Turkey are now giving away free fried-cooked chicken in the hopes that it will get people in Turkey to start eating chicken again. Seems people over there are afraid that any fowl, chicken, turkey etc, is unsafe to eat because of the Bird flu scare.

Guess if I was in their shoes I would feel the same way, I remember for a while there not eating any red meat because of the Mad Cow Disease scare. In any case seems the folks in Turkey are warming up to the free chicken thing, they figure if a big company is giving it away free then it must be good. Now if only the beef producers over here would give away free steaks, yum..
