These numbers are up-to-date as of March 5, 2008 and include the years 2003 through 2008.By confirmed we mean confirmed by a Major health organization like The World Health Organization, not the affected countries. The first number after the country is the total cases of confirmed bird flu cases , the second is the death rate from the H5N1 strain of the bird flu virus.
